NOTE : Some games may require playlists to be able to use custom soundtracks. Usually the options menu will have an option do this. MENU - This means that the custom soundtracks cannot be played through the xmb and must be played through an in-game menu. XMB - Whilst playing the game, press the PS button to go into the xmb and select a song to play. A supported game will have either of the following methods : There are two ways to use custom soundtrack on a game that supports it. This is because Microsoft has patented this feature and if a game on the PS3 wants to support it must be coded manually by the developers. Unfortunately, not every game can have a custom soundtrack being played during the background on PS3 and that is the reason this thread was created.
